  • Booking Confirmation: Full payment or a minimum advance of 50% is required to confirm the booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days prior to the departure date. Bookings are subject to availability of Volvo bus tickets, Suzuki Jimny, and campsite accommodations.
  • Travel Arrangements: The tour includes Volvo bus travel (Delhi-Manali-Delhi) and Suzuki Jimny travel (Manali-Chandratal-Manali). Pickup and drop are limited to designated Volvo bus stands in Delhi (e.g., Kashmiri Gate/Majnu Ka Tilla) and Manali. The Suzuki Jimny will be provided with a driver experienced in mountain terrain.
  • Accommodation: One night’s stay in a basic tent/camp near Chandratal or Batal is included. Tents are shared (double occupancy for couples) with basic bedding; no attached bathrooms or luxury amenities are provided due to the remote location.

The company is not liable for health issues arising from altitude sickness or travel fatigue.
  • Permits and Documentation: Travelers are responsible for carrying valid ID proof (e.g., Aadhar, Passport, or Driver’s License). Any permits required for Chandratal or restricted areas must be arranged by the traveler unless specified otherwise.
  • Conduct: Travelers must adhere to the driver’s instructions and local guidelines, especially in eco-sensitive zones like Chandratal. Damage to the vehicle, campsite, or property due to negligence will incur additional charges.

Cancellation by Traveler:

  • Cancellations must be notified in writing (email or official communication) to the tour operator.
  • Refund eligibility is as follows:
    • More than 15 days before departure: 100% refund of the total amount paid, minus a processing fee of INR 1,000.
    • 7-15 days before departure: 50% refund of the total amount paid.
    • Less than 7 days before departure: No refund.
  • No refunds will be issued for no-shows or partial usage of the tour package.

Cancellation Due to Volvo or Jimny Unavailability:

  • If the Volvo bus or Suzuki Jimny becomes unavailable due to technical issues or scheduling conflicts, a full refund or an alternate travel option (e.g., different vehicle or date) will be offered.

Cancellation Due to Road Closures or Weather:

  • If Chandratal Lake becomes inaccessible due to road closures (e.g., Kunzum Pass blocked) or adverse weather, and no alternate destination is agreed upon:
    • A partial refund (50% of the Chandratal-specific cost, i.e., Jimny and campsite) will be processed.
    • The Volvo bus portion is non-refundable if already utilized or booked.
  • If the entire tour is canceled before departure due to such conditions, a full refund will be issued.

Processing Time:

  • Refunds will be processed within 10-15 working days from the date of cancellation approval.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method (e.g., bank account, card).

Non-Refundable Components:

  • Third-party bookings (e.g., Volvo tickets) are subject to the respective operator’s cancellation policy, and any non-refunded amount will be deducted from the total refund.

Amendments:

  • Date changes (subject to availability) can be requested at least 7 days prior to departure with a nominal fee of INR 500 per person, provided no third-party cancellation charges apply.
  • Travel Dates: As of May, Chandratal is typically inaccessible due to snow on Kunzum Pass (4,550 m). It opens mid-June to September. If planning for April, confirm road status—alternate stops like Sissu or Solang can be added if needed.
