3. Booking Process

  • How to Book: Bookings can be made via our website, by emailing info@clipontrip.com, or by calling +91 9317000608.
  • Minimum Booking Period: Bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance, unless otherwise specified for special packages or last-minute offers.
  • Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed only upon receipt of the required payment (see Section 5) and written confirmation from Clip on Trip. You will receive a booking confirmation via email or SMS with details of your trip.
  • Special Requests: Requests for dietary needs, accessibility accommodations, or other preferences must be submitted at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate them, subject to availability, but they are not guaranteed.

4. Availability and Program Changes

  • Subject to Availability: All components of your booking (e.g., accommodations, transportation, sightseeing) are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. If any element is unavailable, we will offer alternatives or adjust the itinerary as needed.
  • Weather and External Factors: We may change the tour program due to weather conditions, holidays, or closures of historic monuments or institutions to ensure a smooth excursion. Such changes do not entitle you to a refund or compensation (see Refund Policy).
  • Third-Party Services: Bookings involving third-party providers (e.g., hotels, airlines) are subject to their availability and terms, over which Clip on Trip has no control.

5. Payment Terms

  • Advance Payment: A minimum advance payment of 50% of the total package cost is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation, unless otherwise specified.
  • Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be paid at least 15 days prior to the departure date. Failure to pay the balance by this deadline may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of the advance payment.
  • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit cards, UPI, bank transfers, or other methods specified at the time of booking.
  • Extra Charges: Additional fees may apply for unforeseen events (e.g., roadblocks, fuel surcharges) or last-minute changes requested by you. These must be paid immediately upon notification.

6. Modifications to Bookings

  • Advancement or Postponement: Requests to advance or postpone your travel dates must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the original departure date via email (info@clipontrip.com) or phone (+91 9317000608). Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
  • Itinerary Changes: Minor adjustments to the itinerary (e.g., swapping sightseeing days) may be requested up to 15 days before departure, subject to approval and availability. No changes are permitted within 15 days of departure unless due to force majeure (see Section 9).

7. Cancellations

  • By the Client: If you cancel your booking, cancellation charges will apply as outlined in our Refund Policy. You must notify us at least 30 days in advance to avoid higher penalties. Cancellations due to death, accident, illness, or other reasons do not exempt you from these charges.
  • By Clip on Trip: We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to insufficient participants, unforeseen circumstances, or third-party failures (e.g., bus/cab cancellations due to weather or road conditions). In such cases, we will offer an alternative date or package, but no refunds will be issued unless explicitly agreed.
  • Non-Refundable Elements: Sightseeing, transportation, or other unused segments are neither refundable nor exchangeable (see Refund Policy).

8. Customer Responsibilities

  • Accurate Information: You must provide accurate personal details (e.g., name, contact number, email) and travel preferences at the time of booking. Clip on Trip is not responsible for issues arising from incorrect or incomplete information.
  • Travel Documents: You are responsible for obtaining and carrying valid travel documents (e.g., ID, visas, permits) required for your trip. We are not liable for delays or cancellations due to missing documentation.
  • Compliance: You must follow all instructions from tour guides and adhere to safety guidelines during the trip.

9. Force Majeure

Clip on Trip is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes to bookings due to force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, roadblocks, or strikes. Affected bookings may be rescheduled at our discretion, but no refunds will be provided.

10. Special Notes

  • Hilly Areas: Air conditioning (AC) is not provided in hilly regions due to operational constraints. This does not affect booking terms.
  • Group Bookings: For groups of 10 or more, additional terms (e.g., higher advance payment) may apply, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
