3. Payment Requirements

  • Advance Payment: A minimum advance payment of 50% of the total package cost is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation, unless otherwise specified during the booking process.
  • Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 15 days prior to the departure date. For last-minute bookings (within 15 days of departure), full payment is required upfront.
  • Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed only after we receive the advance payment and issue a written confirmation via email or SMS.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit or Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.)
  • UPI (e.g., Google Pay, PhonePe)
  • Bank Transfers (details provided at booking)
  • Online Payment Gateways (via our website)

Payment methods may vary based on the booking channel (e.g., website vs. phone). Specific instructions, including bank details or payment links, will be provided at the time of booking. All payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise agreed.

5. Extra Charges

Additional fees may apply in the following cases:

  • Unforeseen Events: Costs arising from roadblocks, weather disruptions, fuel surcharges, or other unexpected circumstances must be paid immediately upon notification.
  • Modifications: Changes to your booking (e.g., date advancement, additional services) may incur extra charges, payable before the changes are confirmed.
  • On-Trip Expenses: Personal expenses (e.g., meals not included, souvenirs) or optional activities are your responsibility and not covered by the package cost.

These charges are non-negotiable and non-refundable (see Refund Policy).

6. Payment Deadlines

  • Advance Payment: Due at the time of booking to reserve your spot.
  • Balance Payment: Due 15 days before departure. We will send a reminder 20 days prior via email or phone.
  • Late Bookings: For bookings made less than 15 days before departure, full payment is due immediately.

Failure to meet these deadlines may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of any payments made (see Section 7).

7. Consequences of Non-Payment

  • Incomplete Payment: If the advance payment is not received, your booking will not be confirmed, and we reserve the right to release your reservation to other customers.
  • Missed Balance Payment: If the balance is not paid by the 15-day deadline, your booking may be canceled, and the advance payment will be forfeited as a cancellation fee.
  • Failed Transactions: You are responsible for ensuring payments are successful. Declined cards or failed transfers must be rectified within 24 hours of notification, or your booking may be voided.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to non-payment (see Refund Policy).

All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes (e.g., GST) unless stated otherwise.

Clip on Trip reserves the right to adjust package costs due to increases in taxes, hotel tariffs, or transportation fees, even after booking confirmation. You will be notified of any such changes, and additional payment may be required.

9. Receipts and Invoices

  • A digital receipt or invoice will be emailed to you upon receipt of each payment (advance and balance).
  • For manual payments (e.g., bank transfers), please retain proof of transaction and share it with us at info@clipontrip.com to expedite confirmation.

Refunds, if eligible, are governed by our Refund Policy. Key points:

  • Payments for unused services (e.g., sightseeing, transportation) are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  • Cancellation charges apply if you fail to pay the balance or cancel your booking.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 15-30 business days to the original payment method.
